A couple of weeks ago, myself and a woman pushing a stroller were almost run over by some asshole making a right while we were in the crosswalk with a walk sign. imo traffic police should not be empowered to arrest or conduct investigations, they should only be able to write tickets for traffic & vehicle violations. They should not carry a gun. Proceeds from traffic tickets should go into the local lottery so municipalities don’t rely on them for paying expenses.
