Your setup sounds like a lot more work than the plug-and-play nature of Sonos. You can get Sonos speakers for $100. You don’t need a bridge anymore and haven’t for a long time. You don’t need many components. You simply need one of their speakers and an app. They’re still at or near the top in terms of sound quality…

People generally watch less TV when they’re at the peak of their social lives. Too busy socializing in your 20's and 30's to watch much TV. These same folks will watch more and more TV as they age.
