There should be a nationwide moratorium on building any new road infrastructure until the existing stuff is fixed.

Putting screens in a rolling 5000 lb steel projectile has got to be one of the dumbest things humanity has ever done.
And since these ads will undoubtedly be using the location data provided by the GPS in your car, you should be getting paid. You are doing work on behalf of the companies who want this data. Just as Google, Facebook, and Twitter should be paying you for the data YOU create. But that’s capitalism for ya!
It’s interesting to see how many folks allow their personal feelings about Assange to color their response to what is essentially the detention of a war crimes whistle blower in violation of all sorts of treaties and Ecuador’s own constitution. The UN has been calling for him to be allowed to walk free for ages now.…
Nope, he took three steps. His right foot was the pivot. It's quick and hard to see, but he travelled.
Yup. Moves his right (pivot) foot after stepping with his left before passing.
Westbrook travelled. {ducks}
I think we need to double-down on this and get a zoom camera system that can show us what’s happening on the molecular level.
I think ebike legality hinges on whether it has a throttle and what its top speed is. At least, those are the way the rules are organized in most places around the country. This is very difficult to ascertain casually, hence the dragnets that get deployed to target immigrant food deliverers for some reason (they’re…
They’d sell a billion of these, particularly if they offered a stripped down model that gives the modders a nice base to play with.
Even cheaper and more useful.

It’s interesting that UM grad Lauren decided to highlight the problem with not paying college athletes by using her rivals as an example. I know MSU kicked UM’s ass three straight times recently, but you should try to make your impotent rage less obvious. Also, how are those Puerto Rican families working out for your…
We’ve owned an Ecoboost Limited for 2.5 years. The straightline speed is impressive. There is some lag, but with AWD, and in sport mode, just mash the throttle and 0-60 in 5.9 seconds is on tap every time. Feels unnatural in a vehicle that size, but the kids love it!
I’d definitely prefer drivers be more calm behind the wheel, but not to the point of sleepy. Fine line!
My family growing up was unabashedly Twizzler-stans. My wife's family was Red Vine all the way. I converted to Red Vines because they are clearly superior.
If I’ve learned anything in my time reading about transportation issues, it’s that drivers will accept NO reason for in any way limiting their ability to drive or access public commons that are currently available to them. None. Not the climate, not traffic, not improved transit, not 50k deaths a year. Nothing. At…
No, we (as in the average American) does not care about the working poor. That’s why we don’t have viable transit options in most of the country. But, guess who’s also affected most by air pollution and climate change? The poor! So continuing to whitewash the disaster that is car infrastructure in the name of…
Even if they didn’t the amount raised would not be sufficient to cover the cost. Where’s the extra revenue needed to maintain and expand car infrastructure going to come from?
