I’m playing VA11 Hall-A on my Vita right now, and I really hope to get to Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter soon. With it looking like exclusive handheld game systems going the way of the dodo, I have no doubt the Vita will remain my favorite of them for the rest of my life.

The games would be simple to play and cost no more than $8. The console itself would retail at about $180 with all games being exclusive to the console.
The people/places I met sure didn’t seem like people/places, they seemed more hollow and unreal than any NPC’s/places than in any video game I’ve ever played. The over-willingness of the game to break the 4th wall certainly didn’t help.
I didn’t get far in Death Stranding, but if its genre relied on “connection” ... connection to what? The hologram NPC’s that took your MMO fetch quest items?
Please don’t put other people’s words into my mouth. If it was just gameplay but the same story, sure, it would be a remake.
