Your attack power actually goes up by 50 percent when everything is aligned properly, which means that you’ll probably be able to take down every enemy without them even getting a turn. A quick search turned up something about her contesting the military’s practice of having female officers dress up in burka in a region to avoid offending the local patriarchy.

Except the context was the person she was responding to; it was other people who screengrabbed without showing what she was responding to, which—when put next to her response—put it in a pretty clear context.  It wasn’t her fault other people stripped it out.

Hey, I certainly wont begrudge FromSoft from making money on what works for them. I just wish, say, Bloodborne—which was a great game—just had a bit more to make it not feels so narratively incomplete (which it sounds like they did at one point during development, but ended up cutting most of it). Or Dark Souls

Aye, “dreary” is a perfect descriptor.  I certainly found it fascinating, I’m not surprised it would impact some like that.

It would help if people didn’t seem to respond to reopening with “it’s over!  no more masks!  no more social distancing!  heck, let’s throwing massive, crowded parties!”

They are very close together aesthetically, but I’d still say Demon’s Souls is more dark fantasy (mud and rust, stone and mortar), while Dark Souls is more mythic fantasy (like a gloomy faerie tale).

Still, while sad to see the loss of that aesthetic, there was probably no way to really translate it over to improved graphics. A lot of it was probably dictated by the limitations of the hardware.

It worked for Dark Souls 1 as well.

My response to the first trailer for this game, between watching Ellie kiss her girlfriend to her swearing bloody revenge on “all of them”, I didn’t think I’d be picking this game up anytime soon. “No thanks, not interested in watching Ellie’s love interest get killed off yet again, and maybe even raped too, because
