Can you do Microsoft Lync desktop sharing? Thats a requirement at my job. Service Manager Console? Requirement.

Natural Selection 2 just had a twitter post that the next build will give points for healing/repairing, encourage people to play those classes.

Most of the cool effects arent very highly detailed. Being able to see "object pickup over here" way off to the left is pretty useful though. Being able to see "fire to the left, open space to the right" makes it easier to determine which way you'll run.

It should! Even if many people's concerns about windows 8 arent anything to be truly concerned about, it increases awareness of alternatives. And when you can't watch netflix, its not really a mainstream alternative. Even if they are unwarranted in their complaints, major props to Valve for actually getting Steam

I prefer Linux too. It's just not always valid. And yes, generally there are fewer Windows evangelists because most Windows users don't know what an operating system is. Mac evangelists have to convince someone to buy a ton of hardware to swap OS.

True. Sounds like smart kids, so they wont have troubles. But consider that the standards have changed slightly over the years too. You're expected to know more than just DOS for school by the time you're 16 nowadays. But you're most likely correct.

"Jacob mastered the basics of xmonad really quickly. Alt-Shift-C to close a window." ... and suddenly my mind went "either he's going to be on this window manager for life, or he is going to have a lot to unlearn"

Thats not racism though. Tribal people exist. Tribal people in africa are black. When I was in africa we had a big ol (touristy) tribal dinner. I got my face painted in war paint. The tribal thing is promoted. So if we assume there are tribal people in africa, when they get infected they will still have their face

I like this idea better than the shield. But I think you missed the point of shield. It ties in with "the Grid" concept. It basically has a remote desktop kind of client for playing desktop games remotely via wifi. I'd still rather sit at my desktop and I dont think its a great idea (yet). But you're also off.

The only game crash I can think of in the past 4 years was trying to get borderlands 2 running on windows 8 release preview that had a messed up .NET install. If you have a gaming PC built for gaming this is rarely an issue. And by "built for gaming" I mean selecting appropriate parts for a gaming computer that wont

I'm sad because it probably will flop. But I've been discussing with quite a few WoW players lately that having 11 classes means having 11 characters. WoW's recent addition of so many "account wide" features brought to light amongst people I know(most of the people I know have 5+ max level characters) how many things

The most important part of this is NOT the games available for it.

None of my real life friends are like that. But having met some guild members at conventions, I can say they definitely exist and they were pretty much the ones that were the creepiest in game too.

Im pretty sure the video was made semi sarcastically. In no way trying NOT to be a troll. He's not pretending not to be.

Who is to say he doesnt? Its not a video summing every person he's ever ganked. its making fun of camwhores who play with their picture bigger than the game. and donations buttons even bigger than that.

2 wrongs dont make a right. I will agree.

"He loves finding guys like you,"

Razer seems to be pretty hit and miss. And from what I understand, build quality has gone way down hill.

Agreed. I doubt you'll find the source of refurb per item (open box and returned for no reason? or had issues? demo unit? oh dear god most demo units are worn to shit) which means you are gambling unless you have a way of knowing the prior history.

This was what I was thinking. Has all the drawbacks of PC gaming, with the added downside of still having to put the disc in the system to play.
