I agree on Good God's Urge being underrated but I thought their debut was fantastic. Peter DiStefano's guitar playing on that album is sublime.
The current iteration is certainly better than a lot of newer bands out there, but it's not the same. While I think Eric Avery is a pompous, condescending douche, that band needs him to be at their best. No disrespect to Chris Chaney, who's a phenomenal bass player in his own right.
Nothing will ever touch Jane's first 3 albums (don't forget their self titled live debut), but Strays wasn't a bad album. "That's great mother, keep those periodic updates coming!"
"Magnets"
For some reason I thought the funniest line in this episode was, "Didn't Oscar Wilde get hard labor for that?"
"Hey Heinz 56, can I get an Irish Coffee?"
