Even more Trumpy than you thought. He’s not selling these. He licensed his name/likeness to an NFT company that’s selling them. This is just Trump Steaks (and his so many other licensed products) all over again.

Who’s to say he wasn’t invited.

Absolutely 100%. US, CA and FL labor laws and Disney’s liability to employees don’t just stop applying once one enters the gates. Were the story you quoted true, Disney would have massive labor liabilities.

As I watched it for the first time, I hoped Pratt waking up Lawrence was a misdirect and there was going to be a twist where Lawrence actually woke Pratt up first.

He’s also not legally wrong. First cousin marriage is legal (without restriction) in 19 states (including both New Jersey [where he lives] and Pennsylvania [where he’s running for office]). Note that it’s mostly legal in “blue” states like CA, NY, New England states, NM, etc.

I mean, we still mine in a labor intensive way. I know a coal miner and have been inside a coal mine.

Who is going to sue them? The Soviets? The families of the dead Helios employees?

And helium-3 and nuclear fusion producing a recession? How the hell does free, unlimited energy produce a recession?

80+ degree water can be very refreshing if its 105+ out.

1) Attempted Murder: Attempted murder may be difficult to prove (establishing intent to kill will be difficult because, as you noted, he turned away when half a lane away), but he absolutely committed criminal assault, which in Texas is: “intentionally or knowingly threatens another with imminent bodily injury,

Mate, I was simply responding to Nemo’s suggestion that bike riders on roads should ride against traffic, which is plainly illegal. See section 551.102 of the Texas Transportation Code.

I was NOT commenting on the situation in the video. The driver is absolutely at fault and should be prosecuted for attempted murder

Never said it was illegal to walk on roads everywhere. I said the legality of walking on roads against traffic is “questionable” (as compared to OP’s question about riding bikes on roads against traffic), that pedestrians “generally” don’t have the right to walk on streets and that the illegality of walking on roads

You are NEVER supposed to ride against the flow of traffic. In fact, that’s illegal. Bikes are hybrid devices. When a bike is being walked, the person is a pedestrian. When a bike is being ridden on the street, it is a motor vehicle, subject to the same rules of the road as a car (link to summary of the Texas law, and

My (wrong) guess was you were referring to when Marge Simpson exclaimed “Mr. Hutz!” after she accused me of dubbing my voice over Aunt Gladys’ will, where she very generously bequeathed me $50,000.

I want to “Mr. Hutz,...” quote at you

Oral contracts are still contracts, even if they aren’t enforceable under the Statute of Frauds.

Meh, I don’t know enough about the details of the case/their relationship. It could also just as easily be a sleazy person in the industry try to get a cut of her fees despite her never agreeing to employ the agent.

The only issue with your comment I was taking was the statement that there was no contract, it was an oral agreement. Because, as I said, oral agreements are by nature contracts.

I can’t speak to Lena Headey’s specific case/issue, but the overall premise of this article is ridiculous.

Mate, oral agreements are contracts, they’re just not written contracts so they’re harder to prove.
