@Donuthead: no, i read the entire comment. i wanted to defend my analogy a bit and your comment led me to believe you were a proponent of digitized parole hearings.

@Donuthead: you're right — i took some liberties with the analogy, but i disagree with you in the sense that sentencing and parole hearings are independent of each other. during sentencing it is determined when an offender becomes eligible for parole and it stands to reason that implementation at that point

a higher propensity to commit a crime shouldn't equate in to one's freedom. statistics show poor minorities are at greater risk to be criminals so should we just drive through the ghetto and pick 'em all up? also, why is it that people take comfort in numbers? if you like numbers then you'll love knowing that it's

i can't wait till they have the Blockbuster android app ready for other devices. interested to see how that plays out although i hear the prices are a little steep.

if Google can build up the infrastructure here in the states so our braodband speeds don't fall so short of other countries then this may not be such a bad thing in practice. if the slowest "channel" tomorrow is the fastest speed today then i don't know if anyone will care.

@dcalt21: zing! i mean: bing!

@DangerousDac175: you know there is still a debate over whether what you said is protected speech or not.

@Missus Dinnie Dorito.: wait. what? Google has had a ton of cash for years now. how do you think they paid for all the eccentric stuff over the years. (stuff that now looks genius)

i can imagine the sting operation now . . .
