The first thing listed in almost every warranty’s “not covered” section is fire.

Manufacturers have customer support people who should be auditing the dealers to confirm that the repairs were completed on the correct vehicle, that the dealer is keeping warranty repair parts for X amount of time after the repair, that they’re claiming the right times for repairs, etc. This is done mostly to ensure

A Hummer and a pay phone both in the same picture!? What kind of internet scavenger hunt is this?

Right, but those are generally loaders with an optional backhoe, rather than a construction backhoe (link to Deere’s smallest backhoe). Typically on the smaller machines, the whole loader frame and backhoe are removable. I know the L48 is a sizable and very capable machine (I’ve used them with a bush hog to mow), but

True, but typically only for small front end loaders (essentially large lawn tractors), which aren’t generally in high duty loading applications. I don’t know of any backhoes that use hydrostatic transmissions, and though some small articulated 4WD loaders do, none of the larger (100+ HP) units do.

This tractor isn’t hydrostatic.. looks like a Farmall N Series. They have “shuttle shifting,” which basically means you can just pop in the clutch and shift into reverse in any gear.

I didn’t think philly residents were known as being eco-conscious, I’m more surprised someone didn’t try to steal it to turn into a food truck to sell cheese steaks out of.

I drive on a lot of these roads in the winter, and if I hadn’t seen it in person a few years ago, I’d have trouble believing that these guys drive as fast as they do on them. Really cool event.

Somewhat similar: I’ve had a go on construction equipment simulators with motion platforms and they’re pretty fun.

Same hemisphere, close enough.

Now playing

especially crazy because Massa crashed hard in the same turn last year

As far as I know all of the Cat haul trucks and some of the Komatsu trucks are mechanically driven with fairly normal drivetrains. Other Komatsu and all Hitachi trucks use AC electric drive systems.

Thanks for stopping by! Do you ever get to chat with any other MLB players who are car enthusiasts? What’s the coolest car owned by any of your teammates or other players?

I think this is obviously code for a rear-engined FR-S

Wait, is it a Nissan Skyline?

I will say that the new Rogue has a much much nicer trim & features than the old Rogue (wait, I guess it’s still current.. you know what I mean). But I guess that only proves your point, I still like the idea of companies selling their old car designs as “value”-priced new cars... seems better than only getting design

And that’s not even your car.

After moving to a new state I was at the DMV switching my drivers license over. While at the DMV, I was on the phone with Comcast to get internet in my new apartment. Right before I could finish up with Comcast, the guy in the DMV waiting area made me get off of the phone, so I had to call Comcast again afterwards.

It seems that Nico is more #blessed than Hamilton is.

Good afternoon Leigh, how many times per race weekend do you shake your head at Hobbs for getting some key fact incorrect?
