I would KILL for that line to be in the show.

And there's the great casting gag. This is now the second time in less than a decade that they've gotten Hannibal Lector to play Lawrence Talbot's father.
I think Brian Cox is an amazing and talented actor, but his roles as of late have not quite been up to his level. This was. And in 10 minutes of screentime he dominated the show.
Oh yeah, the one with McKellan and Jacobi. Residue is…weird. Great cast, awesome near-future setting, gorgeous theme song….and a plot that drags. It's basically a three-hour pilot for a show, so there's not resolution. They're setting up something cool, but it really is all vague pilot set up. But the two who play…
I see no problem with this.
Anyone else watch that British sci-fi miniseries Residue? It's a bit weird watching the Ramsay/Osha scene after seeing the actors play lovers on that.
I bet you Howland joins Jon and Davos on their Excellent Adventure of Effing Up Ramsey.
I'm still waiting for Liam Neeson to show up as Howland. If only for the Love Actually casting gag.
I definitely heard a baby's crying along with a woman's scream. Hello Jon.
Wait, what?
Yeah. Some things feel like they needed to be picked up. The new mystery, the blogger's flirtations with Hank, Britt's future, but the ending is good. Frustrating, but good.
Yes but does he get great fight scenes like in the finale of Terriers?
Hank (on the phone to cops): "Yeah, I smoked a bunch of doobies and I'm really baked and…"
Britt: "You've never been high in your life, have you?"
Hank: "Looking at me you'd think otherwise."
I would actually love this. The generic, slightly civil-liberties violating NCIS-type crew, tangling with two beach bum PIs who are small time, but persevere to prove them wrong.
Living in LA, I've got to ask, was the radio host a riff on the KCRW show Bookworm? Same vocal styling and heavy inferences about the novels.
Miller can. Sadly he hasn't worn it on Legends of Tomorrow yet.
The finale, adapting Hellblazer #4, was the highlight. They made it scarier than the original comic.
It got better. Episodes 3-5 were the first big improvements; a perfectly cast Papa Midnite and Jim Corrigan, plus a dead-on adaptation of the Gary Lester story. Then it got better from there.
Matt Ryan IS John Constantine and his series was good. It got very good at the end.
Waiting for Ray to finally get the big hero moment the producers promised (they said he was the main hero of the show).
