So the big clues from this episode (and season so far):
* Caspere was into hookers, and some crazy stuff. Attended the parties "up north."
* Prostitutes/orgies "up north" repeatedly get mentioned.
* Chissani, Chissani's dad Theo, Ani's dad, and Dr. Pitler were all together in the 70s/80s at some point in the

Still need to watch that show.

I just thought it was a shoutout to Jonathan Harker's weapon of choice in Dracula.

I think JLM was more effective in each role, but Cumberbatch's aloof genius take on Victor worked better than Miller's mad scientist. Still, JLM's angry child Creature was MILES above Cumberbatch's recovering adult take (love the behind-the-scenes video where they say what they researched to get into the role).

I'd say poisoning Angelique was his first great moment. But this was even better.

Amen. The Boyle Frankenstein play is the best adaptation of the book ever made. Both versions should be seen for full effect, but the one where Cumberbatch was Victor and JLM the Creature instead of the other way around was so good. JLM played him as an angry child and it was perfect.

And a Victorian Lucas Lee, just so he can say "You don't know about the GUILD?!"

Sorry, bad paraphrasing on my part. But I feel like that line is going to be important in the long run.

It was, like the episode title a few weeks back, a glorious horror.

He's also M's Chief of Staff Bill Tanner in the modern Bond films. He should be back in Spectre.

Mendes is producing, so….

From Lyle with Love.

Dorian's "sport" line was terrifying. I loved it so much!

That bit in Victor's hallucinations where the Creatures kept being added to the couch every time it cut back to it was effective.

The Creature's punishment of Lavinia was the cruelest. For a moment I thought she might not find the bodies right away, and have to struggle to fend for herself.

Dalton's still got it.

True. Nothing is as terrifying as when you realize Dalton was Lucifer.

Hmm. Guy was wearing all black…

He seemed too drunk the night Ray got shot to be the shooter. And if the shooter, going by the outfits and mask in the car, was the guy who killed Caspere, then no way Paul is BIIIIIIRD-MAAAAAAAAN!

So going by Ray's insight, Birdman (sorry, BIIIIIRRRRRD-MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! for the Hanna-Barbara fans) is likely a cop. Not Vinci, likely. So who?
