Yeah, if I was going to pit the flaws of Tommy Gavin against the two characters he used to be most often be compared to:
Tony Soprano—Sociopathic murderer
Vic Mackey—Narcissist with sociopathic tendencies, and murderer
Tommy Gavin—Alcoholic, very unlucky
He's not that bad of a guy, just a bit of an asshole that gets too…

I'm still hoping nobody bites it.  I'm scared it will be Lou, though, just because Tommy is at odds with him, and that would make him feel extra crappy, and more likely to want to drink.
