I feel like the PS5 will be for me like the Switch. I’ll use it to play brand and the occasional console only exclusives. But, I’m ok with it, and the controller is just amazing. It feels the most next gen of any feature on the console.

The Razer Blade sounds great! The system I built is a Ryzen 9 5900x, RTX 3090, 64GB RAM, 2 1TB SSDs, and I went with a Noctua cooler. Runs great and quiet. When I got the 5900X, I accidentally bought a 2 year warranty, but I figure that can come in handy in case something goes wrong. It’s been rock solid so far,…
Sounds like you’ve gotten a lot of value out of your setup, and that’s amazing! Makes me feel better about the build I completed in December. I definitely spent a lot more than I had planned, but it should last me for a very, very long time.
True, but I do get home from the likes of HZD and Death Stranding being launched on PC. I have a PS5 so I wouldn’t miss out on anything anyway, but I would rather play games to their fullest on my PC.
But does it still use all the features of the controller like the HD rumble or adaptive triggers? I haven't heard much about it being full featured on PC, just that it works, and I've got my Elite Series 2 as a standard PC controller already.
I’ve still never played it, but it's one I've got downloaded to my PS5. I have an amazing PC which kept me from getting the XSX, but had to jump back in to Sony for their exclusives. I am excited to play it though!
I hope Sony jumps in full force this generation. I would love to have had Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, Spider-Man, and Ratchet and Clank on PC. Those games are fantastic and should be more easily available to more people.
They’re not real bricks! You can see a repeating pattern in this shot here which is just above and to the right of her. Follow the trail of white bricks from the top left of the image down and you can see the pattern repeats, just upside down once you get about halfway through
The performance is incredible. I watched the Digital Foundry breakdown between the Pro and PS5 and that 60fps at highest resolution made a huge difference.
That really is incredible. Now that Sucker Punch have set the bar for how fast loading can be on last gen hardware, there’s no excuse for anything slower on PS5.
I almost re-bought a PS4 Pro just for Ghost of Tsushima as well. Thankfully, I scored a PS5 and it’s incredible. I hope you’re able to get the console soon so you can finally experience it.
For me, gaming took me in new directions during the pandemic.
It truly is stunning. I know the PS5 improved it to 60fps, but I feel like it probably could push it to native 4k from 1800p as well. You’ve definitely got a good replay to look forward to!
Awesome! And Best Buy seems to have the best bot protection at the moment as well. No lottery like Newegg and no free for all like everywhere else.
I’ll be continuing on with Ghost of Tsushima.
I finished The Room 4 and The Room VR during the week, so I think I’ll continue on with I Expect You To Die or maybe restart Half Life Alyx. Upgraded my PC with a 5900x and 3090 so I should be able to run that better than my old rig. I did start a new run on Rayman Legends and bought Battle for Bikini Bottom the…
Agree to disagree.
I literally saw a Psycho Dream Super Famicom cart in a retro game stop this weekend. Did a double take to make sure it didn’t say Psycho Pass, but passed it up anyway.
Surprisingly, the Diaz brothers are good dudes. They do a lot for their community and the kids in it. Yeah, they’re a bit rough around the edges, but they’re miles beyond McGregor in terms of class.
He noticed the chair because he’s stuck in one after how badly Poirier fucked his leg up!
