I had FOMO as well. I live in Las Vegas and had booked a trip to Disney World for September 1st. In February, I thought, “If Galaxy’s Edge isn’t open when I’m going, I’ll just cancel it and go to Disneyland”. The release date for both parks came and I saw 5/31 for Disneyland and 8/29 for Disney World and got super

One of my favorite places on Earth!

I've been looking this morning at Oga's and Savi's and there are reservation times available for multiple times throughout every hour of the day. Definitely not the mad rush I thought it would be. Good on Disney for figuring out how to open this widely to the public without many issues. The ride time is rarely above

That place looks nice, thanks for the tip!  They are booking out through April right now, so I’ll check them a bit later on as well.

That would definitely be awesome. I imagine something big happening for the Empire 40th, and a concert with John Williams would blow my mind. I’m excited to go for sure, but all the blocks of hotel rooms (coming from Las Vegas) are already sold out on the Celebration website. Guess I’ll keep an eye on Priceline when

I love my Forester and plan on keeping it for a long time, but I’ve had to recently deal with the brake light recall that caused ABS, rollback control, and brake light failure.  Now my washer fluid sensor has died and it’s really annoying having that light come on saying my fluid is low.

I got a 4 day pass so I’ll be traveling in from Las Vegas for it.  It’s my first time at any sort of convention, but it sounds amazing, and it’s the 40th anniversary for Empire, so that should be cool.  I’ve also heard that they’re planning something special at Galaxy’s Edge for Celebration goers, so I’m hoping that’s

Ad you definitely seem to be a Star Wars/Disney/Top Gear fan, are you going to Celebration in 2020?

I did know that about the magic hour, but we got to the hotel too late to make use of it Saturday, and Sunday we were too tired to wake up for it after being out until 1am. Oh well, the park was still so empty both days that it wasn't even that big of a deal to not use them!

I actually made a saber on Saturday so I can confirm they are high quality and metal components!

Yeah, 8pm and having only one hour of overlap was why I picked that time!  Booking a hotel reservation, they automatically gave you an 8am reservation, but calling them I was able to get it changed no problem.  I would have stuck with the 8am for the same reason though, only overlap would have been the last hour, but

Love this! Your daughter is going to grow up to be an absolute badass since clearly she already is!

First day sounds like it would have been an incredible experience! by 10pm, there was no wait at all to build a droid, just walk right in if you wanted. I opted not to do that this time, but will probably do it for another visit. The wait time for Smugglers Run was non-existent after the first hour. It literally

Bless them for trying, but yeah, nothing could be done.  Since I was so close to the front, I could see the cast members walking backward leading the line and once we picked up steam about 10 steps in, the guy in charge told another girl to run out to the side to get out of the way and not get trampled.  Truly an

Only reason I stayed on property was to get the Galaxy’s Edge reservation during that period.  Other than that, with the virtual queue, you should be good to get in to the park whichever day you go.  The problem comes from trying to get to Oga’s or Savi’s.  But I’d personally save the money and keep an eye out for

The lightsabers are really high quality, metal components.  They have a good heft and you can swap blade sizes out (comes with a 31", but you can buy 36" or 26").  The built ones also come with a protective carrying case and a pin signifying which lightsaber components you used.  The experience is really what sells it

Dang, looks like the video was removed!

This system sounds great. I was there Saturday, 6/22, with an 8pm time slot and the reservation said not to show up more than 15 minutes before my reservation time. Earlier in the day, we saw the 2pm group line up at about 1pm with massive crowds blocking the entrance to Hungry Bear and nothing the cast could do to

The Ramada Main Gate North is a little further away, but it has free parking and free breakfast, so that’s my go to place.
