It's not perfect but there's no TV family I'm invested in as much as the Gallaghers. Admittedly though, I'm not much for family soap operas to begin with, Shameless is the exception.

This was a great episode and I'm really glad it's not the series finale because this show makes me happy in a way a lot of things simply do not. I love the Gallaghers and I honestly can't see ever being done with Shameless.

I think that was new information about Frank that further parallels him with Lip.

The way she looked in her first scene, I didn't recognize her at first, and thought they hired a "Kerri Kenney type".

lol this post is going to be funny to go back to during the next four-eight years of shitshow.

Do you happen to have a link talking about the animation production move? I can't find anything.

That's interesting, I didn't know. It's funny how quickly the animation changes became noticeable to me.

Alright.

Are you really marking down an episode because its elevator mechanics aren't realistic enough for you? This is the same show where an apocalyptic virus killed humanity but there's no visual evidence of that at all. If you look too closely at the details of almost any story, it'll probably fall apart. It's better to

I have nothing to say other than I second that Mary Steenburgen's a goddamn treasure.

Trump almost certainly helped usher in the apocalypse. The timeline matches up.

If she actually killed herself, that's one of the darkest turns in a network sitcom I've ever seen. Even if she didn't, Gail's plot is still really unsettling. I'm glad to see the show embracing the fact that it takes place after the end of the world.

Anyone notice the animation was somewhat reminiscent of the looser rules of seasons 2-5 (or so)? It was a lot less stiff than the modern era in a lot of places. The direction was less rigid as well. That's actually the second time I've noticed the animation being less stiff this season, it seemed that way in The Town

Yeah, it's a font, not a romance novel. I'll never get how people have such strong feelings over fonts.

I think I've liked January Jones in every role I've seen her in. Frankly, the complaining about her seems attributable more to inertia from past complaints, than reality.

He's right though. These kind of movements are pointless at best, and detrimental at worst. The left needs to be active in the real world now. We have a common enemy, and we can't just do our part by tweeting.

I am kind of a yuppie prick, yes.

Yes.

The Democrats represent my interests almost completely.

Donald Trump is literally a KGB plant like a bad episode of The Americans.
