Maeby's episode was one of the best of the series.

Uh… okay? Sorry for saying anything, sir.

This isn't a singular "masterpiece", but I think The Muppet franchise is pretty universally terrible. I do not understand the love for it at all, besides maybe being fueled by nostalgia.

"Do Sonny and Cher still have that stupid show?"

The studios that make them can deviate a lot from what network airs them. You often get weird occurrences like this. For example, Modern Family is a 20th Century Fox show.

90% sure it's Scully era.

I get that, but I think the reliance on stereotype humor was overblown. As the one person on the planet who watched past the first episode, the characters did get developed beyond a one dimensional schtick, in my opinion, and the jokes that were based in stereotype were pretty gentle.

I was going to reply with a Simpsons quote that I think existed where Marge says something about "super smart Swedish babies", but I keep Googling for it and finding nothing, and now I think I somehow imagined it. Anyone remember what I'm talking about? It's driving me crazy.

Parks & Recreation ended 15 months ago.

It's the network that gave us Parks & Recreation, The Office, 30 Rock, Community, Seinfeld, Frasier, and Cheers. I don't think there's a single sitcom on ABC or CBS that's ever come close to any one of them. Fox and NBC, despite their faults, have been pretty generous to comedy fans. Frankly, I find it pretty shocking

It's funny that a network responsible for hits like "Daddio" and "Whitney" somehow gets more flack for "Outsourced". It wasn't great, but it wasn't the trash tier show that people made it out to be, and it's kind of weird that it, of all the awful NBC shows, is called out so much, so long after it aired.

I'm the lone person on this site that liked that show.

Hopefully not. I don't think that'd be necessary because I don't think Sunny's production is that demanding for the actors. Maybe that's just wishful thinking though because a season without Dee in half of it would be awful.

I really think he could anchor a strong spin-off. Suck-Boy Tony has limitless potential, as long as the show is completely about sucking.

I think they said the idea was that both of them were so annoying and utterly friendless that they had no one else.

Awesome. What should I wear to the acceptance gala?

It's more expensive, sounds worse, entirely inconvenient, cumbersome to use, and harder to obtain! Vinyl is truly the superior format.

People who take part in "hipster" nostalgic appreciation like this (admittedly "hipster" is really hard to define) generally skew left. The nostalgic, "things were better then" point of view reminds me a lot of "Make America Great Again" bullshit.

There's an undefinable point where old goes from "trash" to "antique". Before that nebulous point in time, flaunting the past is firmly in the realm of annoying for me.
