Does anything on network television pair as a whole pair well with this show? Hell, does anything on cable even? The show's great, but it's got to be a scheduling nightmare for a ton of reasons.

Is that some kind of record low? Never heard of a program doing that poorly with a specific demographic before on network television.

Individual priests in one on one, personal settings, are not going to one hundred percent agree with everything the Church teaches. Hell, they might not even agree in a more public setting-the Pope himself has said things the Church doesn't completely support. Father Brah is clearly a more modern and liberal priest,

They reference it very occasionally. I was actually expecting her to say a current show though, she's been shown watching Friday Night Lights before. I guess her answer is more in line with the fact that she's still eight years old.

Lisa is absolutely a mouthpiece for the beliefs of most of the writers (conservative comedy writers are pretty rare, though the most prolific Simpsons writer ever was extremely conservative). However, it's completely wrong to say they have a blind spot towards their own worldview. The very fact that Lisa can be "smug

I think that's interesting about Trump is that I doubt he's actually a bigot. In fact, I doubt he believes most things he says. He, quite intelligently, recognized the most base elements of what motivates the modern American "conservative" voter. This voting base doesn't really care about financial conservatism, or

Truly, you're fascinating. Is your style employed partially in rebellion to "liberal" academia? Is it a misguided attempt to integrate yourself into online culture by ignoring rules of English? Or is it because you think you're above it all in some sense, and this style projects your masculine superiority for all to

Holy shit, you're right. I never quite consciously realized it before, but you're absolutely correct; they format their comments the exact same (and completely inexplicable) way. That's god damn spooky.

I don't even like Girls, but traditional television ratings as a metric of success for an HBO show have marginalized relevance compared to nearly any other network. They measure many things. Frankly, as long as people are talking about one of their shows, it's beneficial to them because it spreads brand awareness of

Slughorn is Slytherin and he's a decent guy. Besides him, I think they're all pricks.

Personally, I think it's fine that this show is predictable in a lot of ways. If it was totally unorthodox, the truly unique aspects of it would be watered down and lost.

I absolutely feel for someone being wildly successful at something they enjoy doing.

I think South Park has always been a very musically inclined show. Trey Parker has a lot of respect for the medium.

There is nothing as low as upvoting yourself.

Gosh, you're kind of a jerk.

I often wonder that. Between weird ending skits like the jug band thing, and couch gags that go past the minute mark, it's kind of crazy how little actual episode there is. And what is even more frustrating is I've heard the crew say they resent that their airtime has decreased slowly over the years due to more

I realize this is pedantic, but Selma's the mother. Patty is the aunt.

Olivia smashed a time god with a fucking car using just her mind in that episode. I don't know; I think that she had autonomy.

All three try (or tried, in the case of Happyish) very hard to seem raw and real. Blunt Talk is the silliest of them, but even that does too from what I've seen of it. The thing is though, that realism doesn't come off naturally to me, just forced. With this show, it seems more organic.

I don't understand the tepid reaction. I thought the show had a strong pilot with an adept cast. It was funny and "real" without seeming too forced like how similar recent sitcoms have felt (namely, Togetherness, Happyish, and Blunt Talk).
