That's ridiculous. Arrested Development can't be in Community's universe. Law & Order, The Simpsons, and The X-Files though? Yeah, definitely.

Both George Sr. and GOB say "I don't want these." Unfortunately, I find that to be one of the most applicable quotes from season four to real life. It's so cutting and funny.

I'm pretty sure that's been true for the majority of the show's run. It's always been heavily based on creepy sexual encounters, Hollywood bullshit, and just a general vibe of crazy rich Caliofornian-ness. It's one of the reasons why I think all four seasons are brilliant.

I'm pretty sure that was the point. The show was done with Annyong in season three. This was mocking people who wanted more of him.

I love that scene. It was incredibly silly and perfect.

That cue from "Gonna Get Together" is one of my favorite uses of music in the show (and I think the whole soundtrack is pretty genius). How can you dislike that?

Yeah, nothing quite makes me as happy as AD does.

She's also Andy Richer's sister in-law.

John Beard has a mini-story arc in the season that parallels his own past seven years. In reality he quit the Fox affiliate anchor job, and in AD he does too.

@avclub-410525841bbf485b7c29db7db4da9b18:disqus I think little lines that from the Narrator are a result of the Narrator losing some of his patience for the Bluths.

I'm not that worried.

I get that you didn't like it, and that's fine, but you do realize that your opinion doesn't really… affect anything? Much less, a movie being made or not.

@spinachleaf:disqus Harsh. It was a pretty great joke.

That's faint praise. I think it was orders of magnitude better than pretty much any sitcom since the show was last on.

Does anyone know what the song was for the end credits of Blockheads?

Perfect Hair Forever was probably the greatest prank show Adult Swim aired. The series itself was really funny, but its premiere instead of Squidbillies, after Squidbillies had been hyped for six months, and then following it with the Anime Talk Show, was unforgettable TV.

That wasn't a true portrayal?

@Juan_Carlo:disqus I've met Tim Heidecker. He's a nice guy.

His coming off as a "smug prick" is pretty much just an act. It's akin to holding Gregg Turkington responsible for the awful stuff he says as Neil Hamburger. The only difference is that Tim is playing a character who shares his name.

Bonjour Diamond Jim!
