You really do have a difficult job.

I like how you, without irony, use Lost as an example of a good way to wrap up a show's plots in its final season. I even liked Lost a lot, but that's not typically something I'd attribute to it.

How sure are you that those people didn't pop into existence so your coworker could lead a spin-off of your life?

I would've watched The Farm too. It really wasn't bad. Also, I think it's wrong to think that NBC passed on it because of quality issues; I'd be willing to bet it was the opposite. The Farm doesn't gel with what they seem to want now out of sitcoms, namely, shows that don't require as much viewer engagement as the

I bet guys that hate Enlightened have monster-sized penises.

It is possible to switch off the television.

@avclub-e9308ddd417ab6c88042a71f916af7a5:disqus I don't think it was an anti-feminism message. Some teachers are just bad people. This one happened to be.

@avclub-ab7d240c84d7265faec0b698a29c6ca7:disqus I'll have you know, sir, that some of my best friends are Molly Shannons!

I thought he was bisexual, not gay? Regardless, I don't think he wrote the character of Tyler to fulfill some weird, Molly Shannon fantasy of his.

It's probably better though that Amy doesn't go out of her way to fix that since I think her relationship with Krista was always kind of screwed up.

I've noticed that too. Most of the executive produced by Matt Selman have been better.

I get her rage at Luck then if it's an animal rights thing. Why the anger over Enlightened, however? Did this show kill a few horses and I'm not aware of it?

Next season, something silly should happen to Amy, and she should turn around and say to, get this, her mom's DOG, "Don't even say it!"

Who is "Vick" though? Why is he a monster? I was discussing vickisamonster with my friend the other day (because I have no life and often discuss noteworthy AVClub commenters with people). She thought it was possibly a reference to Michael Vick, but that's really out of date. There's so many questions!

Maybe Mike White could add a cat to the cast for them to be renewed?

I actually still think she's an elaborate gimmick. Maybe she's like some kind of weird advertising campaign from HBO. I mean, I bet a lot more people on this site at least became curious about Enlightened after reading her rants.

Does that take into account HBOGo viewings? Those viewings surely must be more important for HBO than the equivalents are for other, traditional model, networks.

That's as good a reason as any!

I'm pretty sure Szidon's takedown of Amy in the end was written by vickisamonster.

On the subject of music, is the bump music IFC uses for season 3 of Portlandia from anything?
