But I'm a history teacher! If it's not important then WHAT AM I SPENDING MY LIFE ON???????

I generally like the series, but I keep getting hung up on what I see as a problem with the timeline of Frank's life. According to the opening montage and the character history we hear in the episodes, he got drafted into Korea shortly after high school and "almost bled out," presumably from a combat injury. He

My new thought is that Archer set up the phone chain thing in hopes of catching Ray in the elevator assuming that Ray would call Mallory for help, but I don't think the rest of Archer's behavior in the episode supports that idea. No way he gets on an elevator he knows is sabotaged unless he has something else planned

The phone call at the end kind of took me out of the episode. It feels like somehow the writers and editors weren't on the same page about what was going to happen. There's just no accidental/coincidental way Ray's cell phone and the elevator phone could make that connection.
