I dunno, i don't think he'd see it as a compliment. I think he'd be really really bummed out by this. It's something he's worked so hard for, and deserves. A normal family would be so darn proud of him and be so happy for him, but he gets yelled at. For getting a scholarship to a great school? I was so happy he was

If they weren't aware of it before, surely once Martha's situation was revealed everyone at the FBI would be double or triple checking out any new romantic partner? How can Stan be dating someone and NOT have thoroughly looked into her past? Not too difficult for them to find someone is named after a a dead child, is

This episode was the first time I could see Henry doing something awful, like trying to kill himself. Or simply running away. Philip was so mean to him. Do they call the cops if he does? Surely that'll blow their cover.

Yes, but I do see them leave or attempt to leave at the very end. We won't get to see them in Russia, but we might see them get on a plane. I seriously doubt that the writers will tie everything up nicely at the end. It'll be a little ambiguous.

Maybe. Or maybe Stan will feel so sorry for Henry and Paige that he'll let the entire family escape, rather than let them suffer the ordeal of their parents being incarcerated and the family torn apart. I can see that happening next season (although of course it won't happen!) the Jenningses on the run, the FBI

I agree (not that anyone is likely reading this thread anymore - it's just that nobody I know watches this show - can you believe it?!). I might be wrong, but there's this impression from many of the comments that living anywhere but the US would be some kind of cruel torture. Really? Travelling and living elsewhere

I agree, the writers fell short here as it doesn't seem believable that they wouldn't have taken some steps to "prepare" their kids for the eventual return to Russia.

It's just occurred to me that P&E have done their kids a major major disservice by not allowing them to travel and become more worldly. They had the perfect cover for it too, their own travel agency. They should have been going on regular trips abroad, learning about different cultures, languages and ways of life.To

True. Maybe he just wants this assignment to be over. He wants the job done so that he can move on to wherever he's meant to go. He's lonely and bored and just wants to get the job done.

I hope in the finale we see the big reveal made to Henry. Or, maybe we see that Stan has actually moved closer to finding P&E. After last season's ending when William revealed that his colleagues were a family, two kids, pretty wife - there's been disappointingly no mention of it from Stan / the FBI this season.

I wondered if he wasn't going to offer for Paige to go with them. Did anyone else think that?

I wondered about that for the first time last night. I've noticed that sometimes the subtitles are very short while the actors seem to say much more. The pauses, the emphasis on certain words or phrases that you can't tell from the subtitles. I think we are missing out a lot, actually.

"A human mother" - I love that! She's not quite human is she? Another comment from her which stuck with me was when she said to Paige "I don't care if you're having sex or not". No words of advice, no discussion about unwanted pregnancies or STD's. Nada.

They took the time to make William interesting. I hardly know what Pascha looks like, he's always either rushing past or being spoken of in abstentia.

Well, they would go with their parents now, but then would get to make their own decisions when they are 18. Which isn't all that far off for either of them. So I don't see that going to Russia temporarily would be the end of the world. They certainly don't have to live there as adults if they choose not to (though

Agree!

Yes…..too naive…. too trusting. They are being played here, big time. The "courier" is going to be someone's downfall…maybe the Jenning's, maybe someone else.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say sociopath….do you really think he has no empathy whatsover? That's not my sense of him. He's desperate and needy, has lived a hard hard life and still exists in a crazy loveless world. Phil and Liz aren't exactly nice to him, in all the time we've spent with him there's never

Tuan is pretty hectic, but I don't hate him. He always comes across as all-business because that's what he's there for. He has a job to do and it's in his best interests to do it well. He seems a little desperate to me. There's no happiness or warmth in his life. He's crying out for his mommy to put her arm around him

So sad. I almost hope he does off himself rather than put himself at the mercy of the KGB. Can you imagine what would happen if his treason was revealed?
