Personally, I think we should keep these gas prices high and provide discount cards to low income people so they aren’t driven further into poverty.

Bio-Diesel and or running your car on vegetable oil is all about getting supply of it. To make this work for the small guy you need to be getting your waste oil for free or very cheap because of the time and effort you are going to be putting into it to filter it.
