You are right, I have been in the shed to check, to make a Umimog go crabwise takes spanners and changing things at the back to push when they pulled and vice versa. It also scrubs tyres horribly and annoys the grownups if you try it at 4am.

I have a very ancieint Umimog that does this if you ask it nicely, useful in a very few applications and not really very impressive.
