Ah, I see now. Some people do seem to think that, if you’re towing, you should have a single-use, stripped down vehicle for that. Those people are dumb. Others think that anyone who buys a Denali/King Ranch/Laramie Limited only does for looks and bro status. Those people are also dumb.

You must be uncomfortable when towing, apparently.

Or, y’know, they want fancy seats while pulling that trailer.

2014 was a major retooling for the GM twins. New platform (K2XX vs GMT900). Not a single body panel or interior component carried over. The only thing the engines share is displacement numbers.

I’m guessing its because the 2016 model only had 765 lb-ft where the competition was in the 900s.

Just going to throw this out there:

1: Very. The base towing package on the 2500 HD comes with integrated brake controller and you can upfit it with fifth-wheel / gooseneck provisions for, like, $400. The frame is ready for it and the provisions include the crossplate under the bed for mounting the ball or receiver (and a 7-pin in the bed).

There’s the fun part. FCA’s agreeing to explain the systems gives engineers plenty of time to come up with a lot of words that, in reality may mean very little, but on paper certainly do a lot to convince the EPA that the AECD is beneficial to the engine and emissions systems.

The Cruze hatch is a great starting point. I think it begs for a Z24 treatment.

That lede pickup looks identical to my first truck - 1987 2WD SR-5 Turbo. Same color, wheels, graphics, everything. Thanks for hitting me in the feels

Not five, but eight - I was diagnosed with ADHD and, being the poors that we were, my parents couldn’t afford the medication. Doctor put me on caffeine; a cup of black coffee in the morning, unsweet iced tea at lunch. Miraculously I became a star student -paying attention, doing my work, getting the best grades, all

I nominate the Mitsubishi Lancer

Hey now, at least you can replace a clutch in 30 minutes ;)

I’ll attest to it, but also to the lengths CarMax will go to resolve. We purchased a 2010 Volvo S40 in T5 R-Design trim two years ago. Despite prodding from a very specific author, we did not purchase the CarMax warranty. Within a couple of weeks we started noticing some electrical problems. Took it in, they fixed

Damn, sad I missed this one. Story time anyway!

You’d do well to own a Saab 900. You can pick up a running model for less than a grand all day long, and even SPG models are still pretty inexpensive. They’re fun as hell to toss around, excellent winter drivers and the epitome of everything 1980s - Weird looking, weirdly set-up (the pre-1988 models have the e-brake

I actually meant pointedly but, as you stated pertinently, I can get words mixed some times ;)

I prefer clean and unbroken lines; this trend is abhorrent to me. I liken them to tumors. Sure, if you want to mimic a tablet fine, but at least try more than half-assedly to integrate it to the function and flow of the interior.

I personally think the flow worked quite well on the dash and prefer it over the current trend but, as you poignantly stated, it is subjective.
