GM W-body. It debuted in 1988 and is still with us. Here's a list of vehicles on that platform stolen from Wikipedia:
Can't say I ran into that. Had an intake manifold issue (standard for GM V6s) and some other tiny things, but all in all it was incredibly reliable.
I saw it too, that's why it's so fresh in my mind! It's too bad it didn't make it to production in any form; would've been an order of magnitude better than the Aztek
Good point! I'm fighting over that with our kitchen as well. Thankfully(?) the cabinets are quite possibly the worst designed, with no drawers at all, so I'm not too distressed about ripping the damn things out :)
Not at all. They were actually very great at being what they were intended to be - largish sedans. Roomy, comfortable, disconnected, reliable, economical. My 3800-powered 2001 Impala LS would net me 33 mpg on road trips. Not bad for a 200 hp, nearly 2 ton, barcalounger.
Reminds me of the Stinger concept
Thanks for the ideas!
Indeed, and thanks for the advice! The carpet was already gone before we moved in - nearly the whole house is hardwood. We're considering going back though because the Greyhound hates running in place :)
I have friends that work for the brewery. Oh, the horror stories they've told! The grim truth is more people die in the Banquet mines than on the Light mountains. Don't even get me started on how they get the Extra Gold
You've got a good bit of room to work with there! Dang, my imagination would get the best of me in that sort of spot ;)
That's about what I'm working on as well. If it wasn't for the fire breaks, I'd sink the shelves in. May still do this if I can keep the shelving low enough and still functional
The POs of our house had a wall-length entertainment center with CRT cubby. I'm glad that was removed, though the wife wants those shelves back.
Thank god I don't have an HOA! Now to get my hands on one of these - parts donor for my Dakota maybe
Don't build an entertainment center designed around a specific size or type of television. Leave that part modular! Nobody can say what technology may/may not bring in the next 10-15 years, or what the prospective buyer's wants may be.
Please tell me The Prophet will have some sort of location named after him
Much much harder than people think. I've been studying and hoping to apprentice. However my shoulder, which requires some surgery, is definitely keeping me from following that dream :(
Hopefully it's just another step toward
Probably something to do with Ram sticking with the only I6 on the market and Ford/GM going V. Everyone knows more numbers is better, and 8 is more than 6. 2 more, specifically. That's 2 more betters than 6. Obviously more betters is better
It weighs more than my truck
