I like the idea of using "Overdrive" for this segment. The day is nearly over. We're all cruising, heading into the evening where a lower gear is a good thing.

As one of the Saab faithful I'm not going to hold my breath. I'll certainly give them every benefit of every doubt I can possibly muster, but my hopes are not being held very high.
That was the inspiration, yeah.
I have a wheel-related story. A handicapped friend of mine leased a 2008 Charger SRT8. With less than 6 months left on his lease, some dickholes moved it from the handicapped spot to another about 6 aisles down, slapped it on bricks and stole the wheels. Due to it being a lease, he couldn't return it without the…
My thoughts exactly! I had an '87 Cavalier "stolen", it turned out that my wife had given it away from underneath me. Granted it didn't run but I was almost done making the repairs. Also that wife is now an ex-wife. My new fiance knows not to fuck with my cars, no matter how "old" or "crappy" or "ugly" they may be.
The chambers are more conical, so the engines would be more properly advertised as "Coneys"
The Chargers of yore had base model 6-cylinder engines too. And although I agree on the "blasphemy!" part wholeheartedly, the 2011+ Chargers are works of art. That's an opinion obviously but I am willing to see past the name for that sculpted body.
They had plenty of names they could've used - I was fond of the idea of having a new Fury.
Everybody has to start somewhere. Cut the guy some slack. You don't think Roy Wort just magically appeared one day with a keyboard and talent - he had to do shit like this all through High School. Only then everything wasn't uploaded to the internet and judged by a bunch of Burner arm chair quarterbacks like you…
That hatch is crap! How the hell are you supposed to fit a fridge through that tiny-ass opening?
Jason, there may not be much I can do from Colorado but I am trolling craigslist and other parts sites like a hawk for anything that may be recognizable from your Beetle.
Oh I know. For the longest time I was pissed off to high hell about having four door Chargers running about.
Considering the Dart was Dodge's "compact" offering back then, I don't really see the problem with the name being used on the current iteration. That being said, I'm almost interested to see what they may do with the Chevelle name. I'm not really sure where it would slot in their current lineup.
Hell yeah! My B202 has about 350k on the clock, and it was rarely (if ever) maintained by the POs. I've been searching hard for another block to build, as this one is a bit tired but I can't take the car itself down for weeks to do an intensive rebuild.
Yeah, not necessarily the cars, but definitely the parts. Super Aero wheels, SPG vent covers, factory foglights, these things are fucking HARD to find.
I know. I've been looking. And would have been happy to take the working bits off their hands before they torched the bodies. I would've happily traded the 15-spoke…
Can't say I've ever owned a car new enough to have a recall.
Hey Jason, I know of an SPG you could buy...
A Saab 96 with the 850cc freewheel 2-stroke, three on the tree. Non-synchronized 1st gear, an absolute PAIN IN THE ASS to drive, but once you get the hang of it, you and the machine are one.
