He comes across as a bit of a dick there, if you ask me. Drag someone on stage and humiliate them just because they’re too nervous to dance in front of thousands of people. Seems an odd thing to pick out as a highlight in such an incredible career.

Have you tried Joe Abercombie’s First Law trilogy? Similar deconstructive approach to the high fantasy novel, with some great characters and a dark sense of humour. Honestly can’t speak highly enough of them.

Yeah, 2nd tier sucks. 3rd tier is nice enough, but it makes everyone look like a generic space marine. All the individuality and character goes out the window.

What’s irritating is that you only get to enjoy this for a bit, then you get forced into using the rubbish-looking late-game armour anyway.

I love XCOM, and this is clearly a cleverly designed sequel they’ve put a tonne of thought into, but the performance issues are killing it stone dead for me.
