My generation too BTW. I use Periscope often, mostly because Porsche does an incredible job showing live track days with their test and pro drivers in street and race cars. I totally agree this isn’t a huge audience draw and I think you and I both agree that we’ll see these bikes on Instagram soon enough. Instagram is

I’ve said this same thing to people who ask why TGUK works and other series are terrible. The three hosts have perspicacity and were writers/journalists first and car guys second. That matters more than anything else.

I think this is actually very smart for HD. If they focus on reaching core riders (Baby Boomers and above) they will not be repopulating their rider base. New riders are younger and consume media differently. Periscope is not as scalable as other forms of non-traditional media but it’s a good start for them. I say

Woah woah woah. I’ve been on Rennlist for years and am a 997.2 GTS owner. I’ve NEVER heard of the timing chain issue before. Jack Raby too says the IMS issue is overblown and that the real worry is bore scoring. You need to point us to some sources before dropping bait like that. Can you?

THAT is an awesome story. Thanks for sharing.

If you’ve got the cash, you can do this to it:

Ragnarok!

Ask the Michelin guys when they’ll get 305 MPSS back in stock. It’s bananas they’ve been unavailable for the past 9 months. They are losing many many customers.

Newer 911s do not have a dipstick. It’s just a bar gauge on the on board computer. 997 owners lament constantly about needing a dipstick.

They’re also safer. Laying on the horn before an accident will snap your wrist or arm when the airbag goes off on a center horn steering wheel.

I actually think horns on the center of a steering wheel are a very bad idea now that cars are required to have airbags there as well. I can see people laying on the horn just before an accident and the airbag snapping their wrist or arm. Plus, you have to take you hands off the wheel to hit the horn. Button horns on

WRONG. I had this as a rental and told my wife I’d divorce her if she ever bought one. It’s TERRIBLE for city driving. The throttle response on a cruise ship is better. There is no zipping in and out of traffic in this thing. And the ride is spongy at best. It parallel parked wonderfully because I wanted to get out of

Mine came that way

Centro made two of these. A cabrio and a coupe. Here is a video of the cabrio.

Edit: I take it all back. I see in the provided link it’s a manual. There are two shifter cables that run under the car. They may have been able to extend them or give them a ‘kink’ or something, but I do not know how they did that reliably.

It’s actually yif

I’d like to agree but will say that anecdotally, the other guys I know who own pricier sports cars who are around this man’s age and who have earned their own money also have discipline and self restraint to not act like the man in this video.

I ate ketchup sandwiches as a kid because my mom was so poor. Now in my early thirties, working for the man making and saving my own money, I own a new 911 GTS. So FUCK YOU, your suppositions and your stereotyping.

Available now and tracked in series across the globe.
