Daily Drive: Porsche

Purchase three classics in SoCal. Fix them up. Drive up Highway 1 to Monterey, enter them into the best car show in the world, the Pebble Beach Concours dElegance. Serious challenge, but with TG humor, who knows what could happen. Or... Buy three junkers and enter the local Concours d'LeMons.

No... they suck because of Jeremy Clarkson.

In no particular order:

Skyline Blvd, which runs along the ridge of the Santa Cruz Mountains on the San Francisco peninsula.  It's featured in tons of car commercials.  Definitely my favorite road.  

Any Mazda... From the Protege 5 all the way to the current Mazdaspeed3. They definitely know how to build solid, road-competent, and affordable hatchbacks. That's my Mazda3 Sport!

I've got this in my 2012 GLI, and I love it. My only complaint is that the paddles are too close to the turn signal and wiper controls, especially with my big hands.

They were on their way to Willow Springs Raceway. Iain May (cameraman) was tweeting pics from there this morning.
