Holy shit, is it 2011 again? I swear I haven’t seen comments like this in half a decade.

I think fingernails in non-closeup shots is a recent addition to anime in general. That, and detailed lips. Watching Love Live weirds me out a little because of it.

I keep throwing my wallet at the screen but nothing happens!

You kidding me? I’d love a flat computer to go with my flat screen.

I think you can buy any game from any region as long as you make an account and are able to get PSN cash or have a credit card for that particular region. I live in Asia and I have PS3 games spread across two accounts, my American one and the local one.

I’ll give Dino Charge a try... after I catch up on every other show.

I watched every Super Sentai show from Shinkenger to ToQger, and every Kamen Rider from Den-O to Gaim. Can’t really get into Drive.

I’ve lapsed for a few years, gotta get back into my Super Hero Time!

What dagmose33 said, I’m talking about the video encoding format, like mpeg4. Not the horrendous machine.

This was in 1999, before we had DivX. I assume it was DVD quality (so around 4.5gb for 480p), ripped and converted to mpeg, then quartered in size by reducing the resolution.

Ouendan is pronounced like the names “Owen” and “Dan” put together. (For extra accuracy, make the “a” in “Dan” sound French.)

I really really really hope this isn’t another “young/beloved/hotshot indie director crashes and burns with big-budget flop” story. Tarsem, Neill Blomkamp, Josh Trank...

The Matrix was the first full movie I ever downloaded, off of my university’s shared servers. It was in glorious 320p, and was 1.5 gigabytes. I think it took up a quarter of my hard drive.

Isn’t it obvious what’s going on? The gazelle is a pop star and the tigers are her stage eye-candy/dancers. That’s the audience in the background. I really don’t get why people see a lone gazelle performing for four tigers.

Out of curiosity, did you notice that the article or that these comments were 4 years old when you replied to them?

A thousand times yes. Please.

The Minion version.

This was her reply to the Minion version, so I’m hoping it isn’t.

Oh man, do you remember upgrading from Windows 3.1?
