This is like saying, “Oh, don’t see the exact type of big-budget sci-fi film you like? Get a group of friends and go make one! You don’t know how to make films? Or have 200 million dollars? What’s wrong with you?”

Still better than Singapore. Insta-death!

Aaaand you got that flute tune stuck in my head.

Acts of unintentional assholery?

Just wanted to point out that it happened two generations ago now.

Can we talk about anime without ever mentioning race? Seriously, it’s getting old. It always leads to an affirmation of the “ha ha Asians want to be white” mentality that is frankly super racist. I’m not saying that Eurocentric standards of beauty don’t have any influence in Japan, but if you ask Japanese people,

I also think that Kyoto Animation was one of the first companies to use computers to assist in eye animation, which is what gives them that shine and consistency. Pretty sure I saw animation stills in Haruhi where everything but the eyes were filled in, because they were going to be digitally added in post.

So technically they can make a flying robot form Valkyrie separately...

Oh god it’s welling up inside me

A toast of overpriced popcorn and soda to your dad on that day, then.

Character designer is Yoshihiko Umakoshi, who also did Casshern Sins, the 2005 Guyver series, and Saint Seiya Omega. His designs are very stylized and unconventionally cartoony for anime, but they lend themselves really well to action scenes. I hope you can get past it one day.

Oglaf is great, and NSFW is an understatement. A lot of the time, it’s the funniest porn on the internet.

Each season is standalone, like Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. But I still like Heartcatch more than all the ones that I’ve seen since.

My friend insisted I watch Heartcatch Precure. He just put it all on my computer, saying, “Dude, I know it’s a show for little girls. But if you love cuteness and amazing action scenes, give it a chance.” I refused for a long time, but out of sheer boredom one day, I watched some of it.

Considering how much Japanese fruit sells for in the rest of Asia, it probably is. I once got a bunch of grapes as a gift, and they were USD $40 on sale. (Picture below isn’t mine, but that’s what they looked like.)

Sup, hyper-liberal here.

Don’t forget somebody was DOS attacking them when they first tried to sell the game and they had to shut the store down. They might be trying to avoid more unwanted attention by laying low.

Picroma is literally a two person team, a husband and a wife. There was some unexpected drama when they launched their alpha: someone was sending DOS attacks their way, hindering online sales. Eventually they had to shut down their online store to avoid more unwanted traffic. There’s no doubt that they made quite a

One of my favorite snacks/lunches:
- Boil plain ramen, no soup pack. Cool in cold water, and then drain.
- Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar and sugar to taste. Season the noodles with a few splashes.
- Sprinkle on some fried onion bits, the kind you put on salad.
- Top with a fried egg.

I’m just a layman, but I think when a system is designed only to run one thing very well, it can be super efficient at it. PCs have all sorts of other crap to contend with: the OS, the hardware, clunky drivers, anti-viruses, etc. Nothing is running as efficiently as it could, because the computer is doing its darndest
