Because it’s a fan production, they wanted to remake the whole movie as an insane comedy. They can’t just use scenes from the original in their fan remake.

I think it’s from one of those Sharknado movies. Or Giant Shark vs Other Giant Monster. It’s a thing now, apparently. I don’t know.
