Okay. Sounds fair.
Some people might remember my post here earlier about a collectively designed card game that I'm working on. Work has continued to the point where I feel I'm now comfortable saying that the game is in a playable state, if people want to check it out, give suggestions, and collectively design/make it better.
Thanks for the idea, in any case!
The thing is, I'm worried about joining places just to spam them. I've been here at Kotaku for awhile (Even if I've disappeared recently), but I don't think Wizards would take too kindly to me showing up and going, "Hey, lemme try to grab segment of your player base!", even if I actually like Magic as well.
Any help that you want to offer is great with me! Even if it's just spreading the word around a bit, and letting others know about this whole thing.
Hullo people of Kotaku.
#corrections "(a 3D-selling who's who that does not Nintendo)" just seems weirdly written, and I still don't know what it's supposed to say.
@hashemg: Yeah, that's a problem that I have whenever someone explicitly targets one segment of hate, and refuses to look at the others.
@shkm: I was thinking the same thing. At a party, I could see myself playing this.
@nrXic: I finally got that, then laughed my head off.
@AerintheGREAT: It's because as you age, your ears start to lose the ability to hear higher ranges of sounds. It's the same phenomenon that led to the Teen Buzz sound.
@Tabarnaco: New theory: The camera's refresh rate and the screen's refresh rate are out of sync, and make it look choppier? (Very weak theory, since that's not really what it would look like.)
@Tabarnaco: Huh. So you can. Weird.
@ThreeOneFive: It's probably a lower framerate on the camera, not the game.
@firelogic: What's important to remember is that DS screenshots generally looked rather poor on computer screens, because they're lower resolution, and have to be blown up. I'd imagine it's the same here.
It's funny. After reading this article, I went to go edit a design I've been working on, and got to play my own version! Except for me, it was called, "I never saved an unflattened version?!".
I'm looking for a new phone, probably a smartphone of some sort, and don't know what to get, as I haven't done much research. (The whole cheaper upgrade every few years thing sprung up on me). I really want a physical keyboard, and I'm leaning towards the Motorola Droid 2.
@Squiffy: Well, technically, the bread might come with the wings.
@Feral_NK: Actually, smart gun rule is this: Treat it as if it's loaded, at all times. Even if you're SURE you expended all ammo at the range, since you can screw up.
