I understand the point of staying in the car to make the search by rescuers easier, however that being said if you have paper and a pen and can make a note to put in your windshield with a phone number that probably would not be a terrible idea.

If I was an employee I would much rather live anywhere but NJ or SoCal.

My city Installed 20 of them a few years back. They have since realized people were more willing to fight the red light tickets and they were causing more crashes producing heavier traffic. Luckily our mayor has had them removed. If more cities would listen to the residents they might realize they don't help at all.

This and the fact that to get a job as a valet all you need is a social security number and drivers license. Nothing else is even looked at.
