Came here to add Treasure Planet. I never understood the animosity toward these two films.

trading of nonexistent cards?

The biggest problem is that, while Vox Day and the Puppies (a great name for a horrible garage band) may be regressive wackjobs, they didn’t do anything that was against the letter of the rules. Some folks have suggested just voting No Award for everything this year, which is problematic in its own way.

Out of habit, the NRA filed an amicus brief on behalf of the NFL when they heard “Clinton” & “Brady” in the same sentence.

Hey that’s bull. No way 40k people came to a Mets game.

Roger Goodell did a better job of punishing than Gawker. Is that bad?

Same. Waiting for Kraft to call an emergency owners meeting to discuss the potential firing of Goodell and replacing him with a used vacuum cleaner that potentially sucks less.

BUT it means siding with Robert Kraft. Which is pretty equally terrible.

Anything that goes against Ginger Hammer is the side I will be taking.

This shit show will never end. I fucking love it at this point.

His “dad” act on The Cosby Show always seemed over the top, too jokey and too goofy to be real, even for a family sitcom. It grated on my nerves. “Uncle Phil” from Fresh Prince seemed

I so agree. To Simmonize this, Simmons is now the aging DH who may not hit 40 HR anymore, but still provides underrated veteran presence and is a threat to go deep in any at-bat. /sorry

Personally, I think ESPN only spends money when it involves hurting a competitor (see: Rick Reilly from SI) or crushing a new threat (see: the Fox Sports channel). Now that no threats are on the horizon, cutbacks have begun. But, I’d argue that ESPN getting cheap with Page 2 circa 2004-2008 is exactly what led to the

I think it is more of a case of it being impossible to be the guy who replaces a popular and charismatic founder. I know “founder’s syndrome” is when the gravitational pull of a founder hurts a non-profit or business, but I don’t what the term is for when you replace a huge founder.
