It was ok, the graphics were definitely cutting edge when it came out but the shooting mechanics were...average. This version of doom doesn’t look that good though.

As someone who used to compete at a very high level on the early e-sport scene back in the days of unreal tournament,quake and counter strike, I can’t endorse Halo and it’s lack of skill as a valid e-sport. There is absolutely not a single thing about the Halo system that makes it a skill based first person shooter.

That trailer wasn't cgi, it was rendered with the in-game engine. It was a cutscene though.

The irony being that while Nintendo has sold 6.5 million units while the xbox one is dragging it's feet with 3.1 million(moved less than 100,000 units from store shelves last month), all we hear is Nintendo doom and gloom.

My 12 year old has been tuning into every Nintendo direct since it started. The kids now are waaaay more tuned into what's going on via youtube, twitch, twitter, etc than we ever will be.
