Am I the only one weirded out by this?

I think realistically the most likely negative result is over time all the good employees leaving, kotick is dug in deep and the board obviously doesn’t care. But they got in this situation because they had prestige and their devs were willing to put up with everything just to work for them. It seems like that’s not…
I can agree with most of this, but I blame ME2 for doing nothing but kick the can down to the road to 3 too. ME2 feels like a Bottle episode where instead of doing spectre/galactic politics stuff you just do a protracted Sidequest that doesn’t end up impacting anything. There was plenty of time to resolve some of the…
I didn’t mind it as much in Odessy since it was just a nice time in ancient greece with a fun protagonist. I enjoyed the little Island sized stories as quest chains a lot.
Don’t forget about the (player) race of crabs that can molt to destroy gender.
That’s actually what Star Citizen is doing, I think they’re on the third or fourth iteration of their roadmap right now. So far it hasn’t worked out yet, but I’m sure they’ll keep trying at it.
So it is like a strung out sports car - this can work for a long time, but there’s a certain uncertainty to it.
Just to clarify, they are modeling these ships, they even give their ships a basic whitebox pass during concept nowadays. Though a large number of ships have “variants” that range from reskins to fully remodeled exteriors and interiors.
Honestly it’s probably not that much of a circle, but more of one than other groups because the amount of whales is likely much larger than other games and people with disposable income are probably more likely to enjoy betting on BTC.
The reason on the PS4 was the thermal paste drying out, with the PS5 sony swapped to liquid metal paste which should last much longer. As long as they keep using that it shouldn’t degrade too much over time, not in a way cleaning out the dust wouldn’t fix at least.
What’s interesting in all of this is that the Kobo and Kindle apps have been kind of bypassing Apple already? In both cases you can’t buy books on their apple apps, but you can buy them on their sites/android apps and they only use their own payment systems. And you can still search for, download and read said books…
Honestly I think the reason why people don’t want to discuss it is because they know it’s bullshit but because endgame is the end of an era they’re unwilling to criticize it’s incredibly dumb moments*. They know that they can’t defend Steve at all for making that choice so they just pretend it doesn’t exist.
The problem with them saying you’ll always be called V is that every single voiced game does this. They all give you a single unified name so the voiced npcs can address you directly. Also didn’t mass effect give you more than three origin options? I think it even has two variables. Off course you still start from the…
Really? my biggest gripe with the game was that the game itself kept insisting that my V wasn’t really mine, but theirs. It’s got a story you’d expect from a more narrative focused game forced into an open world setting and I felt like it clashed on every level.
Interestingly one of the tweets you linked seems to have a dev response:
Yeah the main screen is basically a mirrored version of the loading screen that also depicts your currently active character, in the loading screen the sign is obscured but the right way around.
I think I’d like it a lot more if I could get over the fact that Epic’s CEO is using Ready Player One’s dystopia as a Fortnite instruction manual. It’s kind of hard to really see it as a positive in the context of the world we live in.
So it’s like a magic show? We all know it isn’t real because it’s on stage/in a video game, but is that audience “volunteer” also in on it? Is what happened real? Probably not, but it’s still entertaining.
It’s a Bioware game, they rarely if ever have long term drawbacks. Nine times out of ten your choices are between “being mean and getting a reward now” or “being nice and getting a (occasionally bigger) reward later”. It also doesn’t help that being mean is always the very cartoony, slapping children variety of…
