The Wii and Switch were/are both insanely popular consoles though, It’s not like Nintendo has shortages every generation. I’m sure that they do some limited runs on some products so they can do the scarcity thing, but with their mainline consoles? I don’t see the benefit for them, not selling consoles means not

They probably disabled it because it touched stuff they didn’t want modders touching. Most Paradox games are set up in a way where a specific portion of the game is open for modding while the rest stays hardcoded and locked.

It depends on the class and on the skill, it’s very much a PVE game so not all things are equal. There are some really nice skills though, Technomancer has an ammunition buff that makes you do outrageous amounts of damage to certain enemies.

The original Mako was perfectly jank, I can’t believe these cowards ruined it. I guess I’ll have to just hope for a mod that returns it’s original handling.

The only way I see the game end is if they have a sequel lined up and ready to launch that same year. And even then they might keep both games running in parallel.

I was gonna comment the same thing. It took me several attempts to wrap my head around it and even then it doesn’t seem like a likely story? “Magnifying [...] advantages of diversification across the entire group” just sounds like companies specialising in individual niches, which doesn’t sound great to me?

They’re fascists, myths of heroism kind of come with the territory. As defined by point #11 of Umberto Eco’s essay “Ur-Fascism”:

I enjoyed odyssey more tbh, the overall narrative of you being a sexy (but kinda dumb) mercenary that goes around doing shit and having relations ties in well with the lack of pressure behind the main story. Meanwhile valhalla literally has an npc that shits on you for doing side quests/open world missions in an open

This is true I guess, I wonder if adding more CRISPR and Tleilaxu style solutions to human problems could help pull it into the 21st century. Also, the Genre is stuck in the idustrial greytones of the eighties and missing out on the bright whites of the modern digital giants.

Star Citizen is an exception, though they do still cheat; you see out of your forehead instead of your eyes and it’s much more stabilized than the actual head movements.

According to a Polish former cdpr employee I follow on twitter dildos are still somewhat taboo in Poland, so for the devs planting them everywhere might actually be relatively meaningful?

I had issues with that one too, the quest got stuck when picking up new stags with eivor constantly replaying the same text. eventually got it to work though.

I mean being a dumbass white doom cult (badly) appropriating haitian culture is racist, but them being racist isn’t a problem as long as you depict them negatively enough.

The other advantage of starting with inquisition is that you don’t have to get used to the art style/world building of the first game that doesn’t persist into the next game. I mean do you remember the pleasure demons, the goblin looking/acting genlocks, or human/ferelden architecture being mostly not stylized and

That was my point. If restricting gambling is an obvious choice for so many people, why aren’t we acting against gachas that abuse the same addiction?

You know I’m actually not familiar with that phase, but it sounds like you’ve might’ve applied reductio ad absurdum to my reductio ad absurdum.

I feel like this game is mostly making money off of it’s boys, one of them is meta too I think.

Well I never go over my budget so gambling is fine, actually? I don’t see why it shouldn’t be freely available to everyone.

That’s what you get when you use Ready Player One as an instruction manual. It’s hard to do exiting new things when the things you’re mixing in are neither new nor yours to do exiting things with.
