I agree with most of what you are saying, but would argue that he has been foundational in not having women writers and being shitty to Wyatt Cenac.

Yeah, I mean Jon Stewart is such a strong advocate for women. Just look at the roster of writers for his show over 16 years and look at all the opportunities created for women.
