For the first 40 years of my life, I was told I was of Dutch descent. I had asked my parents growing up, and was told Dutch. My mom was published in the newspaper for a dish she cooked, and she was quoted saying she and her husband (my father) were Dutch. All my siblings were told the same.

When I was pregnant I was over 35, and had to get an amino. After which my Dr. told me to go home and relax and have a glass of wine. But I guess everyone knows better then my Doctor.

I remember opening one of the envelops to a $16,000 invoice. And after a phone call they insisted it was mine to pay. I did manage to get insurance to pay it but for a while I had no clue what I was going to do. This is going back 18 years now.
