I agree. Her job is probably thankless and irrepairably doomed to fail. I suspect she’s going to be a scapegoat some time in the future, along with at a minimum of two of the higher-up Konami staff (but obviously not the head-honcho).

Don’t see the relevance of any of that towards why he wasn’t on stage to receive the reward. He is the director, co-producer, designer, and president of the developing company. I’m not sure who the people on stage actually were, but I’m going to hazard a guess that their credits (superficial or not) don’t surpass…

It’s awfully disrespectful to everyone else who worked on this game to say that Kojima is the only person worthy of accepting a related award.

I call bullshit on this, that woman couldn’t possibly be accepting an award for Metal Gear Solid V. I mean, look at all the clothes she’s wearing! She must be suffocating under those clothes... Where’s the obligatory shower scene!?

I know Konami’s PR division is probably doing what they can with what they’ve got, but MAN are they doing a bad job. If Konami were an American company, maybe EA would get a year’s respite from the worst company title?
