I thought the attention paid to Ibtijah Muhammad, who I think is great, and no attention paid to Dalilah Mohamad was strange and seemed to just reinforce concepts of what a Muslim looks like. There was little mention of previous Muslim American Olympians or the other Muslims on the 2016 Olympic game.
