Incredibly sad news. A genuinely good guy, using his wealth for the good of others, for a change. Major condolences to his family.

I did not know this man and I was not even familiar with what he did, but I’m over here crying for all of our loss. What a great man, I really hope that parents tell their kids who the REAL Batman was and what he did.

Damn, what a terrible loss for his family, and the children he helped.

I read this article before reading anything else on jalopnik today. I tried reading other articles, but I actually could not enjoy them. This story pains me to the core and I never met the guy.

I work in a hardware and I’ve had to excuse myself to the back storeroom a couple times this morning after hearing about Batman.

Dammit, dude. I was holding it off, but those pictures have me blubbering. What a tragic loss to the world. The definition of a great man gone too soon. I’m heartbroken over the news. RIP Batman. You didn’t dress up as a hero, you ARE a hero.

I don’t know why I keep scrolling to read all these comments. Each one makes me sadder than the previous one. But this is where I gotta step away and get a coffee or something. What a tragedy.

Lenny may have passed, and bless him for his efforts, but Batman has not – who would take up the mantle?
