People who have lived in the US for years, who have studied & worked here and have families, have been denied re-entry into the country. People with proper green cards have been denied re-entry. Families in places like Yemen, who have lost their homes to US-backed Saudi bombing, are denied entry. People who risked

I know this is not entertainment news but the three Syrian families our mosque sponsored will not be coming to America as a result of the ban. They sold all their belongings, went through two years of grueling interviews and background checks and were at the airport in Istanbul Ataturk airport with their luggage and

Thank you. I’m a pro-choice feminist who got knocked up at 21. Married the dude who knocked me up and have been together ever since. These asswipes who think feminists are all about abortion, whatever. I don’t know. It makes me sick. Apparently we are all repulsive too. Ha, ha. That is all.

A few of my favorites from the Santa Ana march (20,000 people! In Orange fucking County!):

FYI, just tried to take the commuter train from Baltimore to DC for the march. No go. The station was absolutely, completely swamped. I rode that line for years and never saw so many people. I’m sure many in the area were waiting for charter buses, but there was absolutely no way I was buying a ticket and getting on a
