I didn't make it about race, I asked a legitimate question about how race will be handled in this show. I didn't accuse the show of being racist, I merely wondered allowed if the show was going to have the guts or the sincerity to handle racist and sexist attitudes of the culture it appears to be emulating.

You're welcome... occasionally I have moments of clarity and rationality.

Theft is theft, whether your stealing from a group, a company, or an individual. When you steal from a company, you're violating the rights of everyone who is a part of that company. You're also hurting the customers of that company by making that company spend time and money to prevent further theft, that cost is

Sure, but if you steal a device that can open the door to that dimension with said entity, then you bare responsibility for whatever beastie from the eldritch comes forth to our realm.

The movie profits will not be affected in any way

Alright were done. You're clearly just arguing for arguing sake and im not interested in that. You also seem to have a Marvel vs DC troll thing going on based on your other posts. Here is the bottom line.

Actually your argument would make the crime worse. Not only did he steal footage that he had no right to release, he also potentially damaged the eventual worth of the end product, and a related products television ratings. Anyway you slice it, the thief in this case should be prosecuted.

There is a fox in the henhouse. If this leaker is allowed to remain unexposed, it will show that Marvel isn't serious about protecting it's property, and other people might be tempted to think that this sort of behavior is okay. You can't work on billion dollar movies and then illegally leak parts of that movie to the

They did, now they're getting serious. This is still a business after all.

Good, he's a jerk who stole other peoples hard work.

Looks like someone hasn't been watching Agents of Shield. As others here have testified, the show has dramatically improved, boosting ratings is never that simple.

It's a leak, the person who posted it didn't pirate the movie for sale.

Stealing intellect property is still theft, and when that property is a trailer for a movie that might make a billion dollars it's high theft! Look at it this way. The whole movie=1,000,000,000 in potential sales. The trailer is 2:30 minutes of that movie 2 hour movie. = $20,833,333.33

Without personal information (IE the person's name) how the hell are they supposed to take legal action?
Your argument boils down to this:

Why because a company shouldn't try and prevent theft? The leaker violated a ton of agreements and stole intellectual property. Thieves like that shouldn't be rewarded or ignored.

So no company should ever protect itself from theft? They aren't going after anyone but the jerk who leaked the trailer without permission. This isn't a government secret, or NSA leak, this is a companies intellectual property being stolen and released without permission. It's not cool in anyway.

Just because you wouldn't have tuned in doesn't mean others wouldn't. There are ton of movie-goers who prefer watching trailers on live television. Also whoever leaked it violated some serious agreements they made while working with Marvel.

Lets hope I get to try one out, my dream of a Star Trek office is nearly there.
