Very cool suprise to see a piece about Felt! Pretty much all their records up to Forever Breathes are fantastic and fascinating records. To be honest, I've always though Forever Breathes was a tad overrated compared to Poem of the River or Strage Idols Pattern (the most underrater guitar record of the 80s).

As usual, Dyer walks away miraculously unscathed from high concept claptrap that would bury any mortal writer.

I feel like Scott Auckerman is really due all credit for breathing new life into "My Wife!"

Here Comes Everybody is a really wonderful record. If you kinda dig Talk About The Past, but aren't completely sold, check it out. O Palema and *sigh* Melancholy Man are the best, and nail that wistful mood that New Order more or less abandoned after Brotherhood.
