I prefer BoP versus out of control faker not homologated prototypes (aka Ford GT) arms races from mega automotive company Ford/GM/VW/Fiat that would inevitably lead to non-competitive boring racing.

The Ford (Prototype) GT’s pole time last year was 3:51.185

Chevrolet had $41 billion (GM $163 billion) of revenues in 2016. Chevy has 215,000 employees. Chevy sells roughly 5 million (GM ~10 million) cars a year.

Sounds like you’re just upset a Corvette lost.

“He didn’t have the pass made because he came into the corner too hot.” The Aston was ahead and on a perfectly legal line. Whether the Aston had the energy on roll out to sustain it...no one is arguing that.

Wrong. The Aston was ahead and on a perfectly legal, albeit outside, line. Jordan did not give him any room on run out. In fact Jordan love tapped the Aston.

Nope, Aston was ahead and Corvette tapped him on run out.

??? So only cars on the “racing line” have right of way? A driver choosing to take an outside passing line does not mean he forfeits being bumped by another car. The Corvette was behind the Aston, which was on a perfectly legal line on that turn, when Jordan gave it a love tap.

Fox sports Go was superb. Epic race.

In the replay it doesn’t even appear to be tire contact. It’s left rear fender (behind the wheel well) contact.

“Fucked the steering” Seriously? Did you even watch the replay? The crazier the excuses and theories just highlights what really happened. Jordan locked his brakes at Mulsanne and cut up his tires in the gravel. That led to a slow leak which eventually put him out at the Porsche Curves.

Haha...sure. The replay shows no contact with Jordan’s car. The contact is with the left rear end of the Vette to the Aston’s wheels.

Really? Did you look at the replay? There’s is not contact to the vette’s tires on that pass.
