“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. - Wayne Gretzky”
Can this lady go one debate without having a major fuck up? I expect it from most of the other candidates, but she has to know she’s under extra scrutiny.
See my response to Alex Healey. It’s a little long but it sheds some light on it.
Many places have dress codes. That is not uncommon.
Bars and nightclubs. There have been many times I’ve gone out with friends only to have them turned away at the door because they wore a fitted baseball cap, a white T-shirt (regardless of length), or anything that either isn’t business casual or is something that black people have worn in the past 10 years.
I share your sentiment on for a lot of other websites. But not on YouTube. For me at least, I find some of the least annoying ads there. If I go on, say, ESPN.com or any of the Gawker websites though, it’s a different story. I have no problem waiting five or six seconds before I watch a video, but I have a problem…
This may or may not be my last reply, mainly because this is getting nowhere, but at the same time I’m interested in seeing how off-the-rails you’ll go with this.
Whoa, relax guy! I merely suggested that, in the future, you might want to wait a bit before purchasing something so you don’t get burned. It’s your prerogative if you want to impulse buy anyway, but your complaints ring hollow if you chose to do the same thing in the future. If I, in a non-passive aggressive and…
Exactly. I would’ve liked to play the game in three or so months, but I’m fine if they don’t release it until August or September if it means there’s going to be a quality game.
I didn’t “howl about remuneration*” about your choice or future choices, but am disappointed with your attitude about the situation. You simultaneously have a c’est la vie approach about WB/Iron Galaxy receiving your money for the game, but at the same time complain about receiving a port not up to standards. You have…
Dude, this is a perfect example why you should care about preorders. You paid anywhere from $37 (if preordered at Green Man Gaming) all the way up to $60, or more if you also got the Season Pass, and received a substandard product. Not only do you deserve a refund, but this is grounds for a class-action lawsuit. By…
A dev and publisher make a crap port, and somehow it’s the fault of the OS, not the creator. I think you have the wrong takeaway here.
Good Kinja.
Yeah. He’d have a point if it were C X 2, but C X C = C^2.
See guys, there’s no war on women. /s
I agree that Nevada is a lost cause. The problem with giving up on Nevada is they are giving tacit agreement, or at the very least, understanding with Nevada’s ruling, which can very easily create a domino effect across other states, not to mention the Feds.
Honestly, I expect them to simply ignore Nevada if their appeals (whatever may be available) don’t work. It’s not worthwhile to them to register with the gaming commission since it may bring trouble elsewhere.
That would be easy to do if the DOJ and FBI weren’t conducting their own investigations. They need to open their coffers and have their lobbyists get Congress on board, and quick.
That’s kind of what I’m getting at, though. I’ll admit that saying this decision destroys their brand is very premature because they can still register in Nevada as a gambling service, but then the toothpaste is out of the tube. They’re a gambling service in Nevada, so there’s no reason why other states, or worse, the…
