If people were rational car buyers on a national scale, 3-row SUVs & trucks probably would not have replaced mini vans and sedans at the scale they have.

If it’s angled, then I’m a big fan of back in/pull out. When you stop in the right spot to then back up, you’ve got a good view of what’s behind you (mirrors, backup camera, over your shoulder. And when you pull out, you see oncoming traffic over your left shoulder.

The spots are angled near 40 degrees or so, making it fairly easy to back in. The only issue is if you don’t signal beforehand and the car behind you comes too close to let you reverse.
